Mindfulness and meditation
I have been a daily meditator for over 15 years now and a practitioner for longer than that. Long vipassana and regular shorter retreats remind me of the clarity that can be reached and serve as a foundation to the daily practice.
More recently, since the popularisation of Mindfulness and the introduction of Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) into the world, I have added courses in mindfulness including a two year training as a mindfulness meditation teacher with Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach.

My massage training was in London in the early 2000’s with Claire Maxwell-Hudson who was a bit of a guru of massage. Her saying was “Life takes it out of you, massage puts it back”. Swedish/Relaxation is my massage style, preferably a full-body so that the whole system can reset and relax.
Pressure is firm enough to awaken muscles, increase blood flow and move lymph though not as firm as a “deep tissue” massage.
